06.16.2009 New York City Takes the PrizeNew York City replaces Miami as the worst city in the U.S. for road rage, according to the fourth annual In the Driver's Seat Road Rage Survey commissioned by AutoVantage. PMR conducted more than 2500 telephone interviews with consumers in 25 major metropolitan areas to learn more about views on road rage. Rounding out the top five least courteous cities are Dallas/Ft. Worth, Detroit, Atlanta and Minneapolis/St. Paul. The top five most courteous cities are Portland, OR, Cleveland, Baltimore, Sacramento and Pittsburgh. Read more about the survey results. Jennifer recieved the Chapter Service Award June 5th at the national MRA conference in Chicago for her solid commitment to the SE Chapter board of directors over the past three years. Jennifer joined the board in 2006 as Secretary and has served as Treasurer the past two years. Congratulations, Jennifer! 06.02.2009 Identity Theft and WomenA survey commissioned by Affinion Security Center found that women experience identity theft more often than men, and when victimized, lose more money and take more time to restore their identities. 05.29.2009 PMR Survey Supports Mass TransitPrince Market Research is making news in Nashville with the release of a new survey on the need for regional mass transit in Middle Tennessee. Results of the study, commissioned by Cumberland Region Tomorrow, were released at a Transportation Summit held in Nashville on May 28.
01.15.2009 Most Caffeinated CitiesThe second annual Caffeinated Cities Survey conducted by Prince Market Research on behalf of HealthSaver, reveals that Tampa is the most caffeinated city in the United States. Seattle, Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles round out the top five. In 20 major cities, the study gauged consumption of caffeine, including coffee, tea, sodas, energy drinks, chocolate, pain relievers and caffeine pills. The top five least caffeinated cities are Riverside/San Bernadino, Atlanta, San Diego, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Dallas. Primary responsibilities of the PCC include strengthening professional chapters by developing programs that enhance chapter management and advocating for professional members through its relationship with International Headquarters and the AMA Board of Directors. Karen most recently served as Past President of the Nashville AMA. During her three-year term as NAMA president, she led the chapter to unprecendented growth and recognition as a national chapter of excellence. In her role on the PCC, she will represent 17 professional chapters -New York, New York Capital Region, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New Jersey, Baltimore, Hampton Rhodes, Connecticut, Montreal, Toronto, Central Virginia, Rhode Island, Columbus, Dayton and Hawaii.

For the third year in a row, the city has topped the list of least courteous drivers in the U.S. AutoVantage, a leading national auto club, commissioned the survey in which PMR interviewed 2500 by telephone in 25 major metropolitan areas, revealing driving behaviors and attitudes of commuters. Miami is followed by Boston, New York City, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. to round out the top five cities with the least courteous drivers. Pittsburgh, Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis and Cleveland are the top five cities with the most courteous drivers.
